Nepal plane crash kills 68 people, Storm warning as severe weather system hits | 9 News Australia

At least 68 people are dead after a plane crash in Nepal near a newly opened airport in the resort town of Pokhara. In Queensland, residents are facing days of heavy rain, with a severe weather warning in place for the state’s north east. Currently a wet weather system is stretching from Herbert to the Whitsundays in the state’s north. It’s expected to track south and hit Mackay early this afternoon.
